It took me a while to find the place (thank God there’s Waze! 45 minutes from Manila) but I finally made it to the Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo City! Visiting this place has always been at the back of my mind, and I finally found the time to go.
I’m fascinated by Modern, Contemporary, and Abstract pieces, so I really soaked it in at every gallery. There weren’t a lot of people when I dropped by so I took my time and appreciated every painting inside the 1.2 hectare museum.
It’s pretty awesome to have places like the Pinto Art Museum just so we have alternative places to chill and relax. There’s a different kind of fulfilment when you actually go and appreciate art inside a museum.
But the biggest takeaway during my trip? It’s the reminder to stop, appreciate, and experience. There is art, there is beauty everywhere. In a world where almost everything is fast-paced and instant, it pays to have a place like the Pinto Art Museum to remind you to slow down and enjoy the ride, instead of being too focused on your destination.
Hugs and Kisses.Until next time 💗
