Have you heard about Hidden Valley Springs? It is just an hour and a half drive from Manila. Hidden Valley Springs is a tropical rainforest paradise, a private resort in Laguna. Secreted between Mt. Makiling and Mt. Banahaw, it is a few kilometers off the highway of Batangas.
I went there for a day but you can very well stay there overnight. A day tour package includes buffet lunch, merienda and use of all thefacilities at P2000. They serve filipino food that is fitting the scenery.
If you love nature, I’m sure you will like it here as much as I do. It provides a quiet, relaxing place that is well maintained.
But first let me take a selfie :P
Hidden Valley Springs offer a warm pool, soda pool, lovers’ pool and hidden falls. Ahhh, it gave me a hard time to choose which one I wanted first. The first one? Of course the easy choice is the hidden falls. If you want to see it, it would take you 15-20 minutes of trekking going to the falls and along the way you will see the beautiful flowers and century old trees - very inspiring scenery, so beautiful. After visiting the hidden falls on the way down, you’ll come across the lovers’ pool. Be careful and look for the sign going there because you will easily pass by it. It's a secluded area, a dream come true for honeymooners.
The soda pool is comparable to the viki and fuji water in Japan. It’s from twin springs that give you a choice between cool and warm water. But
since it’s together, you can easily hop into another pool. The most amazing part was you can see small bubbles and for some reason your skin
will feel lighter. It is a place definitely worth visiting.
The water is composed of pure mineral water that is said to be rejuvenating. Experiencing nature and waterfalls is one for the books.💗
